Taste of Culture comes to Ridgewater

Back as part of this year’s Multicultural Week observance at Ridgewater College’s Hutchinson campus on Wednesday was the Taste of Culture, hosted by the school’s multicultural club. Club member Rose Spyra and advisor Edel Fernandez served up Moroccan chicken over rice to nursing program student Evans Nyariki. Some of the food ran out early because of the event’s popularity with students and staff.

Ridgewater awarded $50,000 scholarship

Ridgewater College’s SimLab L1, a rolling health care simulation training lab used throughout the state, will receive state-of-the-art labor and delivery simulation equipment after being awarded a $50,000 grant from HealthForce Minnesota.
