Nominations for Minnesota Teacher of the Year remain open through the end of day Monday, Nov. 16.

Noted motivational speaker Jermaine Davis will bring his inspirational message to Ridgewater College in November, and the public is invited to attend free of charge.

The Hutchinson District 423 School Board will meet 5:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, at the Hutchinson City Center, 111 Hassan St. S.E.

The Hutchinson District 423 School Board voted unanimously Monday (Nov. 2) to expel a Hutchinson High School student.

Voters in the Eden Valley-Watkins School District overwhelmingly approved an operating levy increase Tuesday.

The levy increase passed 528 to 252.

Virgil Swanson had planned to graduate from Hutchinson High School with the class of 1956.

Power Limited Training courses will take place in December at Ridgewater College’s Hutchinson campus. Both an eight-hour and a 16-hour option will be available. The eight-hour program is 8 a.m.
