Police received a call about 9:30 of a naked man running outside. Officers found the man, who attempted to run and escape by climbing a chain link fence at Runnings. The man, who was injured in the attempt, was taken into custody. The 18-year-old man, a Lester Prairie native now living in Hutchinson, was taken to the nearby Hutchinson Community Hospital emergency room suffering from exposure and cuts.
In interviewing the mostly incoherent man, police learned he had been at a party in a nearby apartment building where drugs such as LSD, PCB and marijuana had been used.
Officers then went to the apartment building and found another naked 18-year-old man, this one from Watertown, in the hallway. He also was taken to the hospital for medical evaluation.
Officers believe they found the apartment where the party had taken place, but no one was there.
Police will be sending a report to City Attorney Marc Sebora for review of possible charges of disorderly conduct and indecent exposure.
